Organic Mammoth Dill - Anethum graveolens
Great to companion plant with cucumbers. This large dill grows from 4' to 6' tall. Great for pickling! Finely chopped dill is added to sauces and dried seeds and leaves are a great seasoning.
Dill originated around the Mediterranean but the word comes from the old Norse word, dilla (to lull).
Dill is an excellent food source for both the caterpillar and the butterfly, as its leaves host the black swallowtail butterfly caterpillars! Its flowers feed honeybees nectar.
