Petite Yellow Watermelon - Citrullus lanatus
Incredibly delicious, bright yellow, juicy, sweet, crisp flesh. One of our all time favorite watermelons. Early maturing and ripens in cooler climates! A petite "icebox" type melon. Stores great in the refrigerator. Enough to share but not too much to eat alone! Very thin rind, handle with care.
3 - 6 pound fruit.
Rind is even edible and its delicious!
Produces high yields of melons that keep well. Great for summer refreshment, sliced, as agua fresca, in fruit salads and as a sorbet.
