Organic, Non-GMO, Open-Pollinated  Copenhagen Market Cabbage Seeds

This early producing ball shaped cabbage may have descended from the German variety 'Ditmarscher' before being introduced by H. Hartman & Company of Denmark, in 1909. This compact plant holds heads 6"-8" in diameter that weigh 3-4 pounds and is perfect size for the backyard garden. This variety keeps well both in the garden and when stored, the heads rarely split. It is a very fine cabbage for coleslaw, sauerkraut and slow cooking.
