Love in a Mist - Nigella damascena
A stunning old fashioned annual flower from the buttercup family. Native to southern Europe and northern Africa. Easy to grow and does great in marginal soils. The black aromatic seeds have been used for culinary and medicinal purposes. The seeds have a slightly bitter, oregano like flavor. Considered to be excellent as a cut flower as well as for dried arrangements. Known for its beautiful and unusual horned seed pods. Is also known as devil in a bush.

Growing Tips: For continuous harvest, sow in succession 3-4 times, every 3-4 weeks. Direct sow, it is not recommended to transplant. Can be planted in the fall if winters are mild. Roots are sensitive.
