Mountain Gold Tomato Seeds - Solanum lycopersicum
Open-Pollinated, Non-GMO Mountain Gold Tomato Seeds
This stunning orange-fruited tomato was specially bred for enhanced disease resistance and improved plant structure, outperforming other southern market varieties. The compact plants produce abundant yields of smooth-skinned, medium to large fruits—up to 14 ounces each—with a distinctive flattened-globe shape. This open-pollinated variety was released in 1990 and developed by Dr. Randolph G. Gardner at the North Carolina State Mountain Horticultural Crops Research Station.
